Setting Up a DEF Tote Pump & Remote Monitoring System
Our team delivered a 330-gallon DEF tote to the Wichita distribution center, making sure to carefully place it inside the facility’s loading garage, which is a strategic location that allows easy access for the entire fleet. To make refilling trucks quick and hassle-free, we hooked the tote up with a 110-volt electric DEF pump. This setup makes it simple for drivers or maintenance staff to dispense DEF quickly without extra effort or manual handling.
We also installed a remote tank monitoring system on the tote. This technology provides real-time updates on DEF levels, allowing the distribution center to track usage and schedule refills proactively. Typically, most fuel companies only offer remote monitoring setups for standard fuel tanks, but luckily Hart isn’t like most other fuel companies. Our experienced team has the capabilities and expertise to install monitoring systems on DEF totes as well.
